The Bridgewater Church of the Brethren provides a comprehensive music ministry which provides many opportunities for our members to express and share their faith through music. There are many opportunities for membership to share their musical talents individually. Instrumental and vocal solos enhance the 8:30 am and 11 am worship services throughout the year and summer.

Sanctus Choir

Curtis Nolley, Director

The Sanctus Choir rehearses from 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm Thursday evening (with the exception of July) and sings at the 11am service August through June, and is the primary choral ensemble supporting worship. They periodically present larger works and support ecumenical, community, and congregational events throughout the year. Membership is open to all who love to sing.

 

 

Children's Choirs
Cherub and Carol Choirs

Cherub Choir meets from  5:15-5:45 on Wednesdays in the Agape room. Cherub choir is for children Kindergarten through 2nd grade

Carol Choir, for 3rd-5th graders, meets from 5:45-6:15 on Wednesdays.

These choirs provide expressive outlet for for elementary-aged children and perform regularly during the 11 am service / or

Yorffs
Youth Orff Ensemble

Marianne Houff, Director

Marianne Houff directs the Youth Orff Ensemble, which practices Wednesdays from 6:30-7:15 and is open to ages 4th grade through youth. The Orff Ensemble performs on the 2nd Sunday of each month or/regularly during the 11 am worship sercie during the school year.

The YOrffs is an instrumental ensemble that uses the classic Orff instruments and is a unique and expressive outlet for youthful and creative energy.

Bell Choir

The Handbell Choir rehearses from 9:00 am – 9:50 am on Sunday mornings September through May and plays during the 11am service twice a month. An intergenerational ensemble, the Handbell Choir supports a five-octave bell set. They periodically participate in special community and handbell festival events.
